squiggles!

$55.00

middle school is when i realized my brain was on the struggle bus when it came to focusing. sitting through a long class one day, i grabbed a blank sheet of paper, my colorful markers, and began filling pages and pages with this doodle — connecting each squiggle with alternating colors to create a “continuous” line. and it worked!

as an adult i still do this, so it was about time i threw it on my pottery (and i’m obsessed with it).

on the bottom, i’ve marked the start of the line so that you can follow it throughout the piece!

capacity: 12 oz
dimensions: 3.5” h x 3.5”w

CREATION PROCESS:
  • the shape is thrown on the pottery wheel using stoneware clay. once it reaches the leather-hard stage (where it can be easily manipulated while maintaining its shape), it is trimmed, refined to a more precise shape, and additional elements are added. the piece is then fully dried and undergoes the bisque firing. each piece is then glazed and undergoes the final firing - fired at cone 6 (2200°F).
